Sweet pink Spooky Saturday

A friend inspired me to make a pink Halloween necklace because she loves the holiday but isn’t a fan of orange. I LOVE fall and orange, but there are so many sweet Halloween treats in pink to think of… There are a few spooky details tucked in there too. A fun twist on my usual Halloween plans.

Pink Saturday- wishin’ for a wedding to attend

When I found this little Zac Posen dress on super duper clearance I grabbed it and chucked it unceremoniously in the cart. Yes, it is slightly promish and very gaudy, Mr. Lemondrop asked whose drapes I had butchered… but it looked like the perfect thing to wear to a summer evening wedding. Too bad I don’t have an invitation in the next few months. Anyone?

Well, it was only $9.99 and the look on Mr. L’s face was priceless. It was fun to wear to my prebday dinner out.
Danced at a any weddings this summer?

Happy Pink Saturday, a breakfast toast

The weather didn’t cooperate with the outside pics I had planned for this Pink Saturday, so I decided to come back inside and make a smoothie. I was out of fruit to make it pink, but I like the pineapple version I did make! Summer fruit is very inspirational for new breakfast experiences, don’t you think? And anything tastes better on your fave dishes.

Here’s an interesting smoothie recipe with granola I’m planning on trying this week!
