That’s a wrap…and not a bow

I asked my sister to make me a snuggly scarf that I could wear several ways. So she did, but to her consternation it had to be extra long in order for me to position it in all of the ways I planned. And then I found out that I tie a really bad bow. So I am working on that and using said scarf in other ways until then. I mean, if I had to actually look it up because my bow didn’t remotely resemble what I wanted, I need some skills.  Anyway I wrapped it…& my scarf kept me warm on this windy day. I think the hair is your clue that it was in fact, tres windy. Hope you are warm and dry.

Tucker -ed out and still shopping plus Target rant

I love, love that Target has so many fabulous partnerships with designers. And I love even more that this weekend my mother and I found this Tucker for Target dress in a size that accommodates a growing *yes, still* bump on the CLEARANCE rack for $10.00. Totally had to get it- though I wanted the one in the size I hope to be again one day instead. I thought I had plenty in the wardrobe to get me through all of the growth spurts, but that isn’t the case. I continue to shop…
When I got home I perused eBay to see if the dress was still selling on that venue too. And- as I expected it was, for a
markup. This happens a lot with Target’s limited lines. The items are snatched up and put on eBay at quite an increase in cost. And if you really covet that dress, you might be willing to pay it. I wish that Target would get the hint a give us more to choose from- taking the power away from resellers who mark things up ridiculously. I never made it to get those gorgeous Cynthia Vincent for Target wedges, my store sold out immediately. But eBay still has them! Did you miss any great Target design steals and regret it?

Vintage coat, lined for warmth- not that I need it much!
