red and rose-d

When I first tried this vintage skirt I thought the length was a bit awkard for my height. The same week I found a picture of Katie Holmes in a red skirt with booties and thought, I’ll give it one more go before shortening or selling it! And I think the booties did the trick for me. I’ve had these for at least three years, and animal print and booties are still on the runways… a fortuitous purchase. Of course, I still don’t have the rest of her lovely assets, but hey, one thing at a time. Who has inspired you to try something new in your wardrobe this week?

I am not Jerseylicious but I love Animal print

Don’t judge me- but I have watched Jerseylicious on the Style channel. Mostly with my mouth hanging open in shock at the hair and makeup. But hey, anything that makes Texas look a little better as far as those two things go- I am all for~!The ladies on the show love their animal prints, and of this I am guilty too. But you cannot fault a print that has stood the test of time like this vintage coat, and also happens to be one Ralph Lauren approves of in home furnishing. At least that’s my argument. Are you an animal print fan? Zebra, cheetah, or giraffe? Or is it too much for you? Don’t forget to enter the Christmas bracelet giveaway….
