Tidy Tuesday, keeping the jewelry tidy when I can

In my constant quest for organization I began sorting through my jewelry and looking  for new ways to organize it. It’s also nice to enjoy the items used to hold the mounds of vintage and costume jewelry I’ve hoarded- er- collected over the years. I am always on the look out for reasonably priced vintage jewelry chests like this one. It’s my Christmas collection box…I’ve corralled almost all Christmas trinkets inside it with a few pieces left out here and there to grab on the way out the door. In fact, I am so interested in new ways to sort and organize my jewelry I started pinning great ideas on pinterest! I love using vintage containers to hold vintage jewelry- just seems right.

Christmas box, pins, pendants, earrings and more…almost all vintage. Would you believe I need to organize other holidays next? But not as much as Christmas.

Vintage Christmas themed charm bracelets; one is all Santa, one is goldtone vintage, and one is a mix of vintage novelty. The Christmas tree bracelet is on my arm.

A place for rings and things while I am washing my hands or at the end of the day- it’s the top of a vintage cookie jar. Said jar met an untimely end but the birds are so cheery.

Old goldfish bowl makes bangles easy to see!

Love the gorgeous bird dish (great idea to use it like that!). The goldfish bowl is a great idea. And WOW – I do not have a single holiday themed piece of jewellery – that is an impressive collection! Sarah xxx

Using the top of a cookie jar to display your rings?! Genius. That is such an adorable idea.

LOVE the birdie jewelry holder!! I also love the box! I am boring…I use beading storage boxes for my jewelry because I can “adjust” the size of the size of the compartments and see everything without having to open them! VERY functional……VERY boring!LOL
