I have always loved wearing jewelry with poignant history, or a new piece that has special meaning or relevance in my life. I can’t wait to share with you an artist who just might change the way you see the jewelry you wear everyday. Meet Natha Perkins of Luscious Metals, an artist whose every piece puts forth meaning… from beauty, to positive energy, and feelings unique to each person who wears it. “Have you ever sat with your grandmother or mother and had her tell you the stories surrounding her jewelry? Special jewelry tells the tales of generations; hopes, wishes, achievements… it triggers memories and we need that. There’s so much power in our personal stories and in the stories of those that came before us. I’m pleased and privileged to have the opportunity to create these kinds of special pieces for people out in the world and the custom orders keep coming in! “I know that the pieces I create go out into the world and become treasures, amulets, reminders of memories. Because of the materials and craftsmanship, my pieces have longevity. When people wear my jewelry they aren’t necessarily wearing it just because it’s a pretty necklace. They’re wearing it because it’s inscribed with the name of their baby or it has a word or stone that just called to them. My intention is to create jewelry with relevance. Jewelry that makes you look and feel beautiful. Jewelry with meaning and power.”
