In one of the Shopaholic series books I read poolside once, Becky shopping addict promises to not purchase anything new until she wears every single garment in her closet at least once. I thought about this repeatedly as I struggled with cleaning and organizing my closet this month. Yes, it really took me a month, I have a toddler at my house. I found several garments that still had tags and loads that I had only worn once. In my defense I have been slowly getting back to prepreggers weight this year, but still. No one but Kimora Lee Simmons can have the closet space for several different size versions of herself. So I have ruthlessly set out to cut down what I own to a reasonable amount (and that way I can one day have more- right now I can’t!) Everything in this outfit I have worn at least once- yay! But this makes only twice for this skirt so it’s on its way out. I like it, it’s vintage, but if I haven’t worn in more than twice in two years I am going to share it with someone who will. So even though I am carrying a great shopping tote and in a cute shopping area below, I bought only dinner out! Sigh. Did you do any great shopping over the weekend, friends?
