Jungle (print) Love

I found this great 1980′s dress whilst thrifting recently, but it required some alteration before I could wear it. It was far too long and needed belting to create any shape. My grandmother almost begged me to pass it up, she thought it had no potential at all. But I loved the fabric and military shape of the shoulders, so I found myself begging her -to hem it! She did, and with the addition of a great belt I think it will be one of my favorite fall transitional pieces! It will be a fun dress to layer and wear with boots… I have ideas.  What fall faves are you looking forward to wearing soon?

Brilliant – the way you spotted the potential in this dress and then made it work SO well with just a few alterations. One of the things I love about charity shopping is looking for the creative possibilities in what I find.
